  • Vermont casting insert awful blower system



    I purchased the Montpelier medium insert model in 2009. I had grown up with vermont castings stoves in my home in the Adirondacks and they heated our house well. I made my choice to buy this product based upon my history with the company. Unfortunately, the blower system on the stove has been an issue from day one. I have replaced the entire $300.00 unit three times, and it has never worked correctly for a full season. The insert is utterly useless without the blower. I am very disappointed with the stove and pissed I have had to sink nearly another $1600.00 into the stove in parts and... More...
